"A Song for Christmas" from The children of Noak Bridge School
BHR1287's listeners were in for a treat on Thursday 20th December when Lee, Thomas and Alannah along with their teacher Mrs Westerney were welcomed to the studios of Basildon Hospital Radio to talk to our presenter Steve Chapelhow about the project they had been set to compose a Christmas song. On chatting to the children we found that they had listened to the traditional Christmas songs to familiarise themselves with words used.Then placed into groups being encouraged to write the lyrics and add the music. The end result delightful as were the children.

The end result being that Steve and myself could see some budding BHR1287 presenters in a few years time.
